French delegation briefed on Sirte Free Zone Port Project

On the sidelines of the Libyan-French Economic Summit for Investment and Development, organized by the National Agency for Development and Sirte Free Zone, a French delegation including representatives of the French Embassy, Business France, and more than 20 French companies visited the port of Sirte Free Zone.

The delegation was received by a number of directors of departments and offices in the Sirte Free Zone, where they were briefed during the visit on the port project, its development stages, its most prominent components and the completion rates of the works.

The visit comes within the framework of learning about projects and investment opportunities in the region, and strengthening areas of cooperation and partnership between the Libyan and French sides.
