Concluded at the Radisson Blu Hotel – Tripoli, The work of the international workshop “The Strategic Vision for the Development of Libyan Ports in Accordance with International Standards”, The event was organized by the Ports and Maritime Transport Authority in cooperation with the Ports Training Institute and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport during the period from 21 to 23 July 2025.
The workshop witnessed a wide participation from the competent authorities. It addressed themes related to international compliance, Maritime security and safety, Environmental sustainability, Port Expansion Projects, and digital transformation in operational processes.
Active presence of Sirte Free Zone
On the instructions of the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Director General of Sirte Free Zone, The region participated with a delegation from its specialized departments. As part of its endeavor to develop its commercial port and enhance its role as a logistics hub in accordance with the Sirte Free Zone Vision 2030, In line with the country’s directions towards improving maritime infrastructure and achieving the requirements of Libya’s Vision 2030.
