The arrival of the first marine tug at the port of Sirte Free Zone to enhance its operational capabilities

Sirte – The Sirte Free Zone Administration (SFZ) has announced the arrival of its first tugboat and marine pilot tug at the port, in an important step to support the maritime equipment fleet and strengthen its position as a sophisticated commercial hub on the Libyan coast.

The new tug is characterized by high towing power and advanced maneuvering capabilities, and is equipped with modern navigation and guidance systems, logistical support means that contribute to increasing operational efficiency and speed of handling, in addition to special safety and firefighting equipment.

The Free Zone Administration confirmed that this tug will contribute to improving the level of services provided to commercial ships and tankers, and supports its plans to make Sirte the first port in Libya in terms of speed of handling and quality of services.
