On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to our people in the city of Sirte and to the honorable Libyan people, asking God Almighty to make this blessed occasion a good and peaceful holiday, and to bring it back to our homeland with security, stability and development.
We also extend our sincere congratulations to His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, and to all the members of our armed forces, in appreciation of their generosity and sacrifices for the sake of the country, praying to God to protect Libya and its people, and to grant its children success in all that is good and constructive.
