The National Agency for Development and Sirte Free Zone organize the Libyan-French Economic Summit for Investment and Development

 

The city of Sirte hosted the Libyan-French Economic Summit for Investment and Development, organized by the National Agency for Development and Sirte Free Zone, with the participation of a number of officials and representatives of Libyan and French institutions and companies, to discuss the prospects of cooperation and partnership in the fields of investment and development.

 

The summit began with an opening speech by Mr. Mokhtar Al-Madani, Mayor of Sirte, followed by a speech by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Ferjani, Director General of the National Agency for Development, while representatives of the French side delivered their speeches, namely Mr. Philippe Garcia, Business France Officer in North Africa, Mr. Salim Al-Qraytli, Director of Business France in Libya, and Mr. Arthur François, Economic Counsellor at the French Embassy in Libya.

 

The summit comes within the framework of strengthening communication between Libyan and French institutions, and introducing investment opportunities and projects in Libya, in a way that supports the building of effective economic partnerships and opens the way for further cooperation in development, reconstruction and investment projects.
