On the ninety-fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of Sheikh Omar al-Mukhtar, we recall the biography of a man who embodied the highest meanings of sacrifice and redemption, and whose name has been immortalized in the pages of history as a symbol of steadfastness and freedom.

May God have mercy on the martyrs of the homeland, protect Libya and its people, and make the sacrifices of the heroes a beacon for generations to guide.
